Garden Railways

I have been interested in garden railways since 1993. I model 'narrow gauge' at 16mm to the foot or 1/19th scale ~ the locomotives being either meths or gas fired live steam; or battery powered. The track gauge (distance between the rails) is 32mm which is the 'old' 0 gauge. Rolling stock is, more often than not, homemade from all sorts of found items and a large percentage of wooden products. Those of us in the hobby are great itinerants; moving from garden to garden (invited of course!) with our trains for the day. This collection of images then, is a mish mash from other friends railways.
I can recommend our national association: www.16mm.org.uk
