NRM presentation for 2006 prize winner

I was very pleased to gain a 'Highly Commended' in the Railways Illustrated (magazine) 'Picture of the Year' competition.
I won Ł50 worth of Ian Allan books and was presented with my prize, along with the other winners, at the National Railway Museum, York on 23rd June 2006. We enjoyed a presentation of the images along with prizes in a part of the NRM Great Hall. The overall winner, Alan Barnes, had a class 66 Freightliner (diesel) locomotive named after him and this formed the backdrop to our special day. Lunch and wine followed.
